Fondue Recipes

There are two types of fondues. 

In the first type of fondue recipes, raw meats, poultry, seafood, and, vegetables are cooked right in the fondue pot. They're cooked in a flavourful broth, wine, beer, or hot oil (usually olive, canola or peanut oil), then dipped in a favourite dipping sauce.

In the second and more common type of fondue recipes, foods are not cooked in the pot. Rather, cooked foods or raw fruits and vegetables are dipped and swirled in a variety of cheese, chocolate, and fruit mixtures that are kept warm in the pot.
